About The Position

As Network and Telecom Manager, you will provide ComPsych with proactive leadership to implement and maintain ComPsych's network and telecommunications systems. You will plan and drive network and telecom efficiency initiatives to achieve optimal levels of operations and KPI targets. You will maintain existing systems, provide technical guidance and manage staff for optimum performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in information technology network and telecommunication environments, including planning, implementation, and maintenance of network and telecommunication systems
  • Strong and recent knowledge and experience with Genesys Cloud
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems, information technology, or a related field
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale production network and telecommunication projects with minimal downtime and limited impact on the systems
  • Proficiency with the Cisco, Genesys Cloud, Zoom, and faxing solutions
  • Consistent track record of handling escalations on large-scale and mission-critical on-premise and cloud networks and telecommunication systems
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks while demonstrating poise in a high-pressure environment.
  • Project management and sr. level technical team management
  • Proficiency with office software

  • Proficiency with Public Cloud infrastructure connectivity a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Provides overall technical guidance and leadership in projects involving a variety of networks and telecommunications technologies, i.e., Genesys Cloud, Cisco, Avaya, Zoom, faxing solutions, etc.
  • Designs, develops, implements, and manages the performance planning, corresponding analysis, and major problem resolution of the network and telecommunications environments while managing highly technical staff who maintain these network and telecommunications systems.
  • Functional duties include supporting and managing the enterprise-class Cisco network environment, SDWAN, Cloud Genesys Contact Center, Zoom video and telephone, RightFax, as well as local PBX.
  • Develops projects plans and monitors performance against cost center and project budgets.
  • Maintains network quality standards to achieve optimal levels of operation and KPI targets.
  • Tracks and monitors network and telecommunication systems traffic and performance to ensure minimal interruption to network and telecommunication transmissions, ensuring availability and quality transmission, and user experience.
  • Corrects and documents network problems effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Drives initiatives and efficiencies to network and telecommunication systems for improvement (i.e., enhancements, updates, upgrades, and new systems).
  • Establishes tools and procedures to monitor network performance.
  • Develops and establishes departmental standards and procedures.
  • Provides technical consulting to management and staff.
  • Provides day-to-day leadership and project management oversight and works with the teams to ensure a high-performance, collaborative, customer service-oriented work environment that coincides with company values and service standards.
  • Provides team with performance feedback and development opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned
