The Network and Voice Manager owns the architecture and operations of enterprise network and voice capabilities that keep offices, partners, customers, and field operations connected and secure, and actively seeks opportunities to improve delivery through automation and modern, responsible use of generative AI.

  • Lead and develop the network and voice team; set priorities, ensure on-call readiness, and run major incident response.
  • Own network and voice architecture: define target architectures, standards, and roadmaps; drive lifecycle, patching, capacity planning, and resiliency patterns.
  • Own perimeter and remote access services including firewall platforms, VPNs, secure internet access, private access controls, and cloud-delivered security enforcement; maintain policy governance and periodic reviews with Security.
  • Deliver reliable cloud and partner connectivity: routing, external DNS dependencies, secure ingress/egress, and least-privilege network access.
  • Ensure voice and contact center quality: QoS design, monitoring, troubleshooting, and provider management.
  • Partner with OT stakeholders to keep OT/SCADA and IoT connectivity safe, segmented, and supportable.
  • Manage carriers, cellular providers, OEMs, and MSPs; own SLAs, escalations, and cost awareness.
  • Track and report KPIs (availability, latency, packet loss, MTTR, change success rate, voice quality/MOS).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and diagrams (circuits, sites, devices, external DNS domains/zones, DNS forwarders, dependencies) in the ticketing/knowledge system and CMDB.
  • Primary Scope Coverage: Branch LAN/WAN/WiFi (WAN) External and internal DNS services, standards, security, and resiliency Internet, private circuits, carriers and cellular partners Partner connectivity (B2B), tunnels, and third-party integrations Cloud networking (Azure and other cloud environments, as applicable) Secure internet access, private application access, and policy-based remote user access (SSE/SASE capabilities) Firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, secure remote access, and cloud-delivered firewall services Genesys contact center network and telephony dependencies (SIP, trunks, routing) Microsoft Teams voice (telephony, QoS, E911/location) Metering IoT and OT/SCADA networks (segmented, monitored, change-controlled)
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/WiFi, routing/switching, firewalls).
  • 3+ years team leadership or senior technical lead ownership.
  • Proven vendor management experience.
  • Experience with corporate voice and contact center environments (Genesys preferred).
  • Experience with segmented networks; OT/SCADA or critical infrastructure strongly preferred.
  • Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF), QoS, VPNs, PKI/certs; packet-level troubleshooting.
  • DNS/DHCP, including external DNS domains and control-plane dependencies.
  • Perimeter and access security: firewalls, segmentation, secure remote access, and cloud-delivered security controls.
  • Cloud networking fundamentals (virtual networks, routing, secure ingress/egress).
  • Voice fundamentals (SIP/RTP, codecs, call quality drivers).
  • Leadership in incidents and change: clear communication, calm execution, and strong operational discipline.
  • Automation mindset (scripts, templates, Infrastructure-as-Code where applicable) and comfort leveraging generative AI to accelerate analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting workflows.
  • Utilities or asset-intensive operations experience.
  • SASE/SSE and Zero Trust network access patterns.
  • OT segmentation concepts (for example ISA/IEC 62443).
  • Monitoring and logging integrations (NPM, SIEM).
  • CCNP (Enterprise) or equivalent.
  • Firewall and cloud networking certifications aligned to your stack.
