IT Network and Cybersecurity Supervisor
About The Position
The City of La Crosse is seeking to fill a full-time IT Network & Cybersecurity Supervisor position at the La Crosse Public Library. The La Crosse Public Library provides accessible materials, engaging programs and inclusive services for the community. The purpose of this position is to administrate and ensure the security of the library’s computer networks and back-end data center infrastructure. Position will oversee daily information technology department activities. Performs the duties of Infrastructure Manager in their absence as directed. Position performs confidential tasks and exercises significant latitude to make independent decisions and commit resources accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or a related field with two to three years of related experience, or any combination of education and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in LAN/WAN networking.
- Experienced in configuring and administrating Active Directory, Storage, NFS and Samba, Desktop Imaging of Computers, Windows 2022/2025 servers, Networking Equipment, SCALE HC3, VOIP, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
