About The Position

An IT Network Administrator I who thrives on supporting the network infrastructure critical to the flow of data and tech enabled operations.

Knowledge of computer systems and capabilities.
Knowledge of system design and analysis procedures.
Experience in using ticket and inventory systems.
Knowledge of network and IT systems troubleshooting techniques.
Demonstrated ability to learn customer support processes and techniques.
Strong customer service and analytical skills.

Highly self-motivated and directed.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
Ability to implement policies and procedures for customer support.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Associate’s degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits OR Two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

Assisting with network cabling projects according to budgets and schedules.
Analyzing and isolating issues.
Installing various network devices (routers, switches, WAPs, etc.).
Maintaining basic understanding of Local Area Networking, routing, and switching technology.
Assisting with vendor support of cable plant installation and troubleshooting.
Managing planning and maintenance of network cabling, including MDF and IDF closets.
Assisting vendors to ensure system deliverables and activities are in conformance with the contract.
Complying with change management procedures.
Managing project activities and maintenance tasks in approved ticketing system.
Receiving, prioritizing, and responding to incoming work orders, calls, and/or emails regarding equipment and/or connectivity problems
