About The Position

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s core technology infrastructure, managing IT staff, and leading key enterprise-wide projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of My Wireless’s technology environment in alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate studies in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects in a lead role.
  • Experience developing project management best practices, metrics, and managing a full project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to interpret requirements and develop effective product roadmaps.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and external dependencies.
  • Strong multi-vendor negotiation and management skills.
  • Extensive experience in the design, deployment, and management of: Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS).
  • Network infrastructure, SD-WAN, Wireless Access Points, and security solutions for 100+ locations.
  • Office 365 administration, including device and mobile device management.
  • Experience in advanced network, wireless, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Experience in helpdesk ticket/resolution management with SLA/OLA reporting.
  • Advanced organizational and project management skills.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear messages and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership ability.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts across multiple IT teams and select appropriate project management tools.
  • Ability to build, develop, and delegate effectively within a high-functioning team.
  • Ability to work extended or flexible hours when necessary.
  • Driving and travel required on an as-needed basis.
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Nice To Haves

  • BA degree or equivalent preferred.
  • PMI Certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate technologies and develop improvement recommendations for infrastructure and systems.
  • Manage the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of Data Center, On-Premise, and cloud-based virtualization, server, application, and storage infrastructure.
  • Provide direction, training, and coaching to IT support staff.
  • Perform and manage advanced troubleshooting across the computing environment.
  • Conduct periodic systems risk analyses and develop test plans and procedures.
  • Perform cost/benefit analysis and vendor selection for hardware and software.
  • Develop project tracking and reporting processes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project implementation and progress.
  • Manage projects to meet cost, schedule, and resource constraints.
  • Develop, facilitate, and maintain IT policies and procedures related to standards, deployment, and usage.
  • Recommend changes to policies for the company's computing environment.
  • Hire, train, develop, guide, and empower direct reports.
  • May delegate work or provide supervisory support in the absence of a team supervisor.
