About The Position

This position manages a team of AutoZoners in developing, implementing, and supporting AutoZone’s existing and new software applications and hardware platforms that provide security controls. The IT Security Manager develops and implements security measures, manages a team of security engineers, and ensures the security of systems, networks, and data.

Requirements

• At least ten years of security and/or cyber risk management experience in a large enterprise environment, including formal leadership responsibilities.
• People leadership and supervisory skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Presentation, facilitation, and writing skills.
• Project management skills, including estimating, planning, controlling, and execution.
• Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following functional areas: Infrastructure Security; Application Security and Automation; or Identity and Access Management.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Understanding of and experience with scripting or coding languages.
• Security credentials such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT AutoZoners, including assigning and monitoring work, providing feedback, coaching and development, counseling, and salary administration.
• Manage and track the progress of multiple projects.
• Perform project management and administration, including creating work plans, planning and controlling resources, writing status reports, and preparing annual budgets.
• Communicate activity status with teams, peers, management, and business partners.
• Build relationships with key business partners to identify and resolve business issues.
• Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff.
