The Highland Park/Brownstown IT Manager will directly supervise Level 1 and Level 2 IT Technicians and the Network Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring the daily IT operational stability for production-critical systems, acting as the primary on-site escalation point during plant-impacting IT incidents. The IT Manager will prioritize IT work based on production impact, safety, and business risk, and will supervise hardware and system upgrades, ensuring change management processes are followed. This position also supports and oversees enterprise virtualized environments, Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, and associated infrastructure, while ensuring patching, backups, and system hygiene are executed consistently. Additionally, the IT Manager is responsible for supporting plant-floor IT systems and ensuring networking standards meet Magna requirements. A key aspect of this role is ensuring the site adheres to IT General Controls (ITGC), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and TISAX requirements, and supporting internal and external audits. The IT Manager will also enforce IT security policies, access controls, and change management practices, and continuously improve personal and team knowledge through training and development.
