About The Position

The IT Manager Systems is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role involves managing system administrators and IT staff to deliver reliable and scalable technology solutions that support business objectives. The IT Manager Systems will lead projects related to system upgrades, network enhancements, and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. They will collaborate closely with other departments to understand technology needs and provide strategic guidance on IT investments. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT systems management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and IT service management frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams effectively.
• Technical skills daily to oversee and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and efficient.
• Leadership and communication skills are essential for managing IT staff, coordinating with other departments, and negotiating with vendors.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are applied to diagnose system issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices is critical to protect organizational data and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Project management skills help in planning and executing system upgrades and technology initiatives that align with business goals.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker).
• Background in project management methodologies like Agile or PMP.

Responsibilities
