About The Position

Accenture Sourcing & Procurement is seeking to enhance its IT Center of Excellence with a driven professional committed to building a great business and influencing key decisions. The Sourcing & Procurement team delivers tangible business results for clients by reducing costs, environmental impacts, and addressing challenges with soaring prices and longer lead times, while also enhancing employee experience, customer satisfaction, and community impact. As an IT Management Consultant, you will focus on Accenture’s IT Center of Excellence, supporting client-facing IT sourcing and cost optimization projects. You will collaborate with clients and suppliers to drive project initiatives, lead consulting efforts, problem-solving, project management, and data analysis to inform strategic client decisions. You will also contribute to deepening the expertise of the IT Center of Excellence and capturing knowledge for business development, while scaling Accenture’s IT capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience and exposure to IT procurement and/or negotiations in areas such as IT Services & Labor, IT Infrastructure, IT Software, and Telecommunications. While deep expertise in all areas is not expected, you should demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning and be able to infuse the consulting business with existing knowledge and build upon your IT Procurement base.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience executing Strategic Sourcing projects/programs, including exposure to IT negotiations
Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)

Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
Earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree

Responsibilities

Create robust sourcing strategies and recommendations
Provide IT thought leadership and benchmarking
Synthesize disparate data sources into insights and clear deliverables
Work together with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements
Develop and nurture relationships with client stakeholders
Facilitate development of project plans and overall project management to ensure effective delivery of client project work and client deliverables
Coordinate with subject matter experts within and outside of the firm
Work with contractors, consultants, and internal /external resources to align priorities, accomplish objectives, and satisfy all stakeholders
Contribute to the IT Center of Excellence’s strategic decisions and direction
Exhibit integrity in decisions and firm relationships
Achieve excellence and dependability through the execution of projects and initiatives
Support sales calls
Develop sales-support materials
Provide IT thought leadership
Support development and review of client IT Spend summaries
Work with team to identify and assess opportunities for savings and cost optimization through various IT sourcing levers
Create and curate deliverable content (POV slides, case studies, whitepapers, etc.) to capture IT category knowledge and ultimately support internal knowledge share and business development
Develop and execute strategies to aggregate data for ongoing benchmarking, insight generation, and data analysis
Assist with ongoing development and management of intellectual capital
