About The Position

This role sits within a dedicated IT construction team responsible for managing base build cabling scope across large-scale active manufacturing facilities. Coordinators will serve as the on-site eyes and ears for the program, overseeing low voltage vendor execution, verifying work against design drawings, and keeping project managers informed of progress, delays, and risks. The environment is fast-moving and high-change, candidates must be comfortable operating in organized chaos while maintaining discipline around documentation, safety, and cross-functional communication.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT construction experience in manufacturing or data center environments
  • Knowledge and experience with electrical and low voltage systems
  • Extensive vendor management experience
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changes due to construction delays
  • Technical and process-oriented mindset to drive construction sequence of events
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Discipline with safety, PPE, and EHS policies
  • Must be onsite and able to be hands-on to support overall deliverables

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Oracle Aconex, Revit/BIM, Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage low voltage vendor performance, deliverables, staffing levels, and safety compliance on site
  • Read and interpret CAD drawings to verify all work is completed in accordance with final design
  • Monitor vendor progress from initiation to closure and raise flags to project managers when vendors are behind schedule or understaffed
  • Attend daily and weekly meetings with network and construction teams to stay aligned on project status and upcoming needs
  • Perform daily site walks and surveys to gather construction status updates
  • Identify and communicate build conflicts or clashes to the appropriate teams
  • Document, communicate, and track issues through to resolution
  • Work closely with Network Team Project Managers on forecast requirements and schedules
  • Ensure IT construction work stays ahead of schedule and aligned with the broader network team timeline
  • Manage vendor relationships with low voltage contractors on site
  • Role requires significant on-site presence and walking across large active construction environments
