About The Position

The IT Internship at RBNY aims to provide a practical complement to a formal education in IT. The program aims to help interns develop specific technical skills as well as soft skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. In addition, give interns a taste of different career paths within IT and help them determine what they're most interested in, as well as offer an understanding of how IT functions in a real-world business environment and to expose interns to industry standards and practices. Requirements

• Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and networks. Even at a basic level, understanding how systems interconnect and operate is crucial
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems logically and systematically.
• Document solutions, write reports, and maintain clear documentation for technical procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
• Be able to work well in a team, as IT projects often require collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Precision and attention to detail when working with complex systems to avoid errors and identify issue

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ongoing IT projects by performing tasks assigned by project managers or team leads
• Conduct research on new technologies, vendors, or IT strategies that could benefit the organization.
• Create and update documentation for IT systems, procedures, and training materials.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops, and shadow experienced IT professionals to learn from their expertise.
