About The Position

Dot Foods is seeking a creative, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented intern to join our Information Technology - B2B Integrations department. This internship offers the opportunity to job-shadow within the IT department, deliver solutions, improve functionality, and lead assigned projects in application development. Interns will participate in team projects, learn about Agile software development methodologies, and engage in problem-solving through research and data analysis. The role involves reviewing and updating reports, presenting project findings, and applying lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste. This position is ideal for someone curious, a problem-solver, who enjoys tinkering with technology, and provides excellent customer service.

Requirements

Good standing as full-time student actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university
Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Creative & innovative thinking

Nice To Haves

Degree work towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
Effective, professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Leadership experience

Responsibilities

Job-shadow within the IT department to deliver solutions and improve functionality
Lead and own assigned project(s) within application development

Problem-solve through research, collecting data, and analyzing to determine best processes and methods
Review, update, and track a variety of reports
Present project information at the culmination of the internship to communicate research, findings, analysis, and any recommendations
Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
