About The Position

This internship is designed for individuals currently enrolled in a post-secondary, IT-related, degree-granting program. The intern will be responsible for responding to end-user requests, assisting with routine IT department tasks, supporting IT initiatives with special projects, performing research, and undertaking other assigned duties. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and follow procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write fluently in English
• Current enrollment in post-secondary, IT related, degree granting program
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with internal and external customers of Enable Injections
• Ability to take directions from supervisors and adjust to changing work targets
• Good time management skills
• Ability to follow defined procedures
• Ability to collaborate and maintain cooperative work relationships with others
• Ability to adapt to change and handle unexpected situations with close guidance
• Ability to stay focused on tasks, organize, compare, interpret basic data, and assess problems with guidance

Nice To Haves

• Previous IT work experience
• Previous customer service experience
• Desire to work in a constantly changing, dynamic work environment

Responsibilities

• Respond to end user requests for assistance
• Assist in routine IT department tasks such as managing inventory of IT equipment, setting up new user accounts, deploying new hardware and software, and organization of IT storage areas
• Support IT department initiatives with special project work
• Perform research tasks both proactively and as assigned
• Other tasks as assigned by management
