About The Position

We are looking for a focused, detail‑oriented student interested in hands‑on experience supporting users and working on a production cloud migration. This intern will assist with data migration, documentation, and testing, while also handling basic help desk tasks such as troubleshooting hardware, software, and account issues. This role is intended for someone who is serious about starting a career in IT and wants practical, hands-on experience in an enterprise environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field
  • Completion of at least one year of relevant coursework
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft cloud technologies
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, and Active Directory
  • Experience with a help desk or IT support environment (academic or professional)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and execution of the organization's cloud migration project
  • Support data migration, testing, and validation efforts across multiple platforms
  • Document migration processes, configurations, and outcomes; create/maintain support documentation
  • Collaborate with IT/BIM staff and project stakeholders to meet project milestones
  • Respond to and resolve end-user technical support requests via ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral device issues
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and recurring issues
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including hardware setup and account provisioning
