As a Summer 2026 Intern: You must be able to work on location, up to 37.5 hours per week Intern for the full Summer term - June 8, 2026 - August 14, 2026 The minimum & maximum rate of pay will be fixed at $17.00 per hour You must be a rising Junior or Senior at a local college/ university and pursuing a bachelor's degree This position is not eligible for relocation In a fast and frequently changing retail environment, Hugo Boss is searching for an ambitious, curious and enthusiastic IT Intern. As an Intern in our NCSA IT department, you will support our Automation initiatives. You will work closely with IT and business colleagues to review and evaluate repetitive manual processes to identify viable opportunities for automation and then automate them. This internship offers you: Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform and exposure to the UiPath platform. Exposure to processes in all areas of the business (HR, Finance, Retail Operations, Wholesale Operations, Logistics, Shop Construction) at a global fashion and lifestyle company An opportunity to actively contribute to automation use cases

Requirements

  • Currently, enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science or a comparable field
  • Have a solid IT foundation in one or more of the following fields: Operating systems, IT infrastructure / networking basics, or Software development or scripting (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Curious about learning, exploring, taking initiatives with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and UiPath
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a structured way of working
  • Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with APIs, automation, or simple scripts is desired

Responsibilities

  • Support in current state manual process review sessions and transcribe process steps/requirements into a PDD (Process Design Document).
  • Conduct structured research to verify other pre-existing solutions don’t already exist for the manual processes.
  • Enter vetted automation opportunities into Global intake process.
  • Develop Apps, Forms and Workflows utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Document test cases and conduct testing of automations to ensure accuracy and desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues to get automations migrated from test to production environment.
  • Monitor/maintain local intake form of automation opportunities.
