About The Position

Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add an IT Install Technician to the team in Houston, TX. This role involves supporting day-to-day operations of the PC Depot, including device imaging, configuration, deployment, and hardware refresh activities. The technician will perform workstation installations, upgrades, and replacements, and provide hands-on technical assistance in the Tech Lounge for troubleshooting various computer equipment and peripherals. The role also includes assisting users with software installations and account access, maintaining equipment records, and coordinating with support teams to resolve issues, all while delivering a positive customer experience.

Requirements

Experience with Windows 10/11 imaging, device setup, and hardware diagnostics.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, walk-up support environment.
Comfortable lifting and moving computer equipment as needed.
Eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations of the PC Depot, including device imaging, configuration, deployment, and hardware refresh activities.
Perform workstation installations, upgrades, and replacements for employees across the site.
Provide hands-on technical assistance in the Tech Lounge, including troubleshooting laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
Assist users with software installations, account access issues, and basic application support.
Maintain accurate records of deployed equipment, asset tags, and inventory levels.
Ensure all work follows standards, security requirements, and deployment procedures.
Coordinate with the onsite CE team and remote support teams to resolve escalated issues.
Deliver a positive customer experience by providing timely, professional, and friendly support.
