Job Duties: Position will include but not limited to PC and laptop configuration along with hardware and software troubleshooting in a Microsoft Windows 11 computing environment. Install personal computers/laptops at client work areas, troubleshooting and servicing Hewlett Packard, Dell and Lexmark laser printers. Provide mobile device delivery and support. Troubleshoot and maintain on a limited basis, Ethernet and Local Area Networks. Other duties as assigned and within the scope of the classification

Requirements

  • Associate degree in computer science and two years of related technical and business experience. Two years of related technical and business experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • OR Post high school coursework in computer science and three years of related technical and business experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in the use of general or specialized hand tools used to perform PC maintenance have a strong understanding of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365.
  • An understanding of basic wiring and troubleshooting Local Area Networks in the Ethernet environment required.
  • Excellent leadership skills, reliability, self-starter, works well individually and as a team in a limited supervisory environment, customer service and communication skills.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • This position requires travel. As such, the incumbent must be able to present a valid driver’s license or another form of reliable transportation.
  • This position will also require lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience trouble shooting and supporting PCs in a large Enterprise network.
  • Experience in providing technical support, Active Directory troubleshooting/administration and troubleshooting for remote client/server computing environments.
  • Experience performing basic problem solving of network, printer and server issues.
