As our first IT hire, you will architect the digital backbone of our growing global robotics startup. You are a hands-on leader responsible for a modern cloud-native stack, ensuring our team, workstations, and global offices remain secure, high-performing, and seamlessly connected.

Requirements

• Systems Expert: Deep experience with modern MDM (e.g., Iru, Jamf, Intune) and cloud-native identity providers (e.g., Okta, Google).
• Global Systems Architect: Proven ability to manage complex, cross-border networking challenges for distributed teams.
• Proactive Mindset: Stays current on the latest vulnerabilities and automated defense strategies (vulnerability scanning, patch management).
• Startup Agility: Able to build scalable, documented IT processes from scratch in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Global Infrastructure: Design and manage secure, high-speed connectivity for a distributed international workforce, leveraging Zero Trust architectures. Own the availability and alerting for core corporate systems to ensure zero-bottleneck engineering.
• Endpoint Management: Own the full lifecycle of the corporate devices and engineering workstations, using modern MDM and automated provisioning.
• Modern Security Defense: Protect our corporate identity & data against evolving threats, including AI-augmented threat vectors, social engineering, deepfakes, and identity-based attacks.
• Identity & Access (IAM): Administer our core identity stack (SSO, MFA, Passkeys) with a focus on seamless onboarding and offboarding.
• DevOps Collaboration: Partner with the DevOps team to ensure corporate systems support agentic workflows and internal AI automation without creating friction or risk.
• Global Vendor Management: Act as the technical lead for international partners, ensuring secure data exchange and IP protection at the corporate level.
