About The Position

The IT Systems and Network Manager is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance of all business systems. Design, implement and maintain all server, data storage network, network switch, router, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall services. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer system services for servers, networks, and desktop computers across the company. This position is also responsible for enterprise security and business resumption.

  • 5-7 or more years of Infrastructure Management experience

  • Device management (MDM) experience

  • Act as PM on Infrastructure projects
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organization, time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains relevant processes, procedures, standards and documentation for systems responsible for.
  • Leads technical design sessions, designing and documenting technical solutions that are aligned within the ECO system of the company.
  • Acts as a PM. Plan and manage hardware projects, assign tasks, ETA’s, tracks to plan.
  • Translates business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage existing systems.
  • Collaborates with product, service, operations, finance to determine priorities and risks associated with the project portfolio. Actively participate in governance.
  • Analyzes business requirements to determine technology needs (solutioning).
  • Maintains quality control procedures to ensure that systems and networks are secure, efficient, and operational.
  • Creates control features to ensure systems and networks effectively meet the organization’s quality standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of systems and hardware.
  • Builds and maintains capacity and utilization management plans.
  • Designs, builds, configures and installs servers housing enterprise systems
  • Provides information processing, systems counseling, and guidance to management personnel.
  • Allocates system resources to optimize performance.
  • Builds network configurations and connections.
  • Maintains and trouble-shoots VM, backup, firewall, VPN and Wi-Fi for all locations.
  • Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages; schedule, test and deploy hardware and software upgrades.
  • Installs, maintains, and upgrades domain controllers. Manage DNS, DHCP.
  • Manages domain registration
  • Establishes, implements, monitors, and enforces information security standards and technologies for all enterprise systems.
  • Leads enterprise-wide security risk assessment and status reporting efforts.
  • Monitors industry trends, evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and control techniques; and keeps senior management informed about related security risks and implications for the enterprise.
  • Responsible for ongoing Vulnerability Management / Detection programs (application & infrastructure).
  • Sets standards, performs assessment, and governs all IT infrastructure security requirements.
  • Defines and implements the appropriate security tools and regular security tests.
  • Establishes and governs the Security Incident response processes, investigations, and security operational processes.
  • Collaborates across the enterprise with other functional areas to achieve data protection objectives.
  • Advises business units as necessary to investigate security incidents.
  • Drives review and direction of information security audit and regulatory compliance where applicable; respond to requests and audits regarding information security and data protection.
  • Assures continuity of the computer system for all system users.
  • Develops BCP and DRA recovery schemes to assure business continuation.
  • Constructs and deploys backup and recovery mechanisms to sustain enterprise systems.
  • Builds business continuity plans after understanding process and data dependencies.
  • Conducts regular tests to ensure backup and recovery mechanisms are effective and business restoration can be accomplished.
  • Assists with budget prep and tracking spend
  • Selects, develops, and motivates qualified staff to effectively conduct department functions.
  • Other duties as assigned
