About The Position

The IT Infrastructure Lead at Sure Steel Inc is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's IT infrastructure to ensure its reliability, security, and scalability. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role.
• Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies.
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with network and security management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, and networking.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of productivity and professional growth.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for IT infrastructure that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
• Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of network systems, servers, storage, and other infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing best practices and staying informed about emerging threats and technologies.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure the procurement of necessary hardware and software resources within budgetary constraints.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Prepare and manage the budget for IT infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement innovative technologies that drive business success.
