About The Position

This role acts as the global technical domain leader for networking technologies, responsible for the global ownership, strategy, and lifecycle management of Nufarm’s IT networking services. The role is defining technical direction, overseeing network design and implementation activities and advising team members and 3rd parties. This includes both hands-on technical work and leadership responsibilities across networking projects. Based in North America, the role also manages the regional infrastructure lifecycle in close collaboration with the Global Infrastructure Team and managed service providers, while contributing to infrastructure demand evaluation and prioritization at a global level.

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure services design and implementation
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in owning and managing IT services or technology domains (service ownership, lifecycle management, roadmap definition)
  • Proven experience delivering regional or global IT infrastructure projects
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, VRRP) and enterprise network environments
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Fortinet and Cisco networking technologies.
  • A track record of successfully implemented, global networking projects based on Fortinet SD-WAN and Fortigate functionality and central management.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft server environments, Azure AD and Microsoft 365
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across globally dispersed teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS or Oracle OCI is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Define the end-to-end service roadmap, standards, and architecture for the IT networking domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and business strategy.
  • Design, implement and maintain LAN and WAN solutions in line with global standards and best practices
  • Lead troubleshooting, upgrades and major incident resolution for complex network environments
  • Manage small to medium infrastructure projects end‑to‑end, including hands‑on delivery where required
  • Support infrastructure architecture and design reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
  • Provide L2 support for infrastructure services and projects outside managed service scope
  • Manage regional vendor relationships, infrastructure contracts and related expenditure
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to internal teams and project resources across regions
