About The Position

PSI is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join their global Infrastructure & Platform team. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving infrastructure systems that support PSI’s business operations worldwide. The position is a full-time employment opportunity based in Estonia.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Practical experience with virtualization technologies
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration
  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure services such as PKI and email/MTA technologies
  • Practical experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure projects
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring, patch management, and configuration management
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and maintain detailed technical documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VMware, Proxmox, or Hyper-V
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure
  • Experience with Azure Arc and Azure Update Manager
  • Experience with Zabbix or other infrastructure monitoring platforms
  • Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages and infrastructure automation
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Sendmail, or Postfix
  • Experience with Veeam or similar backup technologies
  • Familiarity with ITIL, change management, qualification, and validation processes
  • Relevant Microsoft, virtualization, Linux, or other infrastructure certifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve Windows and Linux server infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain virtualization, storage, and backup platforms
  • Administer Windows Active Directory and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Support enterprise applications and services hosted on Windows and Linux platforms, including email and business systems
  • Manage infrastructure management and supporting systems, including monitoring, patch management, configuration management, and access control services
  • Plan and execute OS patching and infrastructure upgrades in accordance with company policies
  • Lead small and medium-sized infrastructure projects and participate in larger infrastructure initiatives
  • Perform qualification, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of infrastructure systems
  • Maintain accurate infrastructure asset inventory, warranties, and related services
  • Coordinate with infrastructure vendors, including tracking deliveries, contract execution, and vendor activities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system standards
  • Collaborate with Network & Connectivity and Cloud & Modern Workplace teams on cross-domain initiatives
