About The Position

Intuitive Machines is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician (Break/Fix) to provide hands-on technical support across the organization. This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving end-user technical issues in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a break/fix setting, delivers strong customer service, and demonstrates solid technical troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networked systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT support experience in a break/fix or service desk environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments, hardware systems, and basic networking
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management platforms
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications, or ITIL
  • Experience supporting engineering, aerospace, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection tools
  • Experience supporting hybrid or cloud-based environments

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line and Tier II technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve break/fix incidents in a timely manner
  • Manage and update support tickets within the IT service management system to ensure SLA compliance
  • Support end-user devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and conference room technology
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, business applications, and endpoint software
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and group memberships in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Perform workstation imaging, deployments, and patch management activities
  • Coordinate hardware repairs and warranty support with vendors as needed
  • Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and create knowledge base articles
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and equipment
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with users regarding issue status and resolution timelines
