Job Title: IT Help Desk Technician Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours), Monday-Friday (occasional weekends/evenings, as needed) Location: Hybrid (50% remote/50% in-person at AZA locations throughout the valley; main office is in Phoenix) Pay: $22-$26/hour DOE + Participate in our Scheduled Raise Program 2x/year Are you passionate about solving tech puzzles and helping people thrive in a digital workspace? We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Help Desk Technician to be the first line of support for our team’s technology needs. The Help Desk Technician provides direct support and training for the technology in use by our organization. This role is responsible for the timely triage and resolution of IT tickets, questions, requests and incidents. This includes creation and management of accounts, devices, technical troubleshooting and escalation when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a history of interacting directly with staff to resolve technological issues. They will also possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and positively to all staff.

Requirements

  • H.S. Degree or GED required; some college or a college degree preferred (Proof of education required)
  • Help Desk Support experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Products (SharePoint, Teams, Desktop Apps) is required
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check, obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card and meet all other related hiring requirements
  • Must have your own reliable transportation, and be able to provide proof of car insurance, registration, and a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Assign, configure and coordinate accounts and devices
  • Provide appropriate technology training as part of staff onboarding
  • Actively monitor, prioritize, resolve and escalate IT-related requests and incidents
  • Maintain accurate and complete ticket records
  • Provide in-person and virtual troubleshooting and resolution
  • Onsite setup and installations of workstations, networking, printers and other hardware as required
  • Report and escalate concerning or abnormal cybersecurity activity
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance as required by law and organizational policy
  • Perform all other IT-related duties as assigned
