As an IT Help Desk Administrator at LetsGetChecked, you will be a valuable IT team member responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure. You will assist in troubleshooting technical issues, managing system configurations, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with network fundamentals is a plus.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and responding to help desk tickets promptly.
  • Assist in the setup and installation of computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and access permissions as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the company's software inventory, applying updates, and ensuring software licenses are up to date.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT assets, procedures, and configurations.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and practices to protect company data and systems.
  • Assist in managing IT inventory, including ordering and tracking hardware and software assets.
  • Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers as necessary for hardware repairs, software licenses, and technical support.
  • Provide basic training to end-users on software applications and IT best practices.
