[Contract] IT Field Support Technician (Part-time)

About The Position

This is a part-time, 3-month contract position for an IT Field Support Technician with a possible extension. The role involves on-site project support, including cable tracing and labeling in IDF rooms, PDU initial configuration, rack and stack, cable patching, user desktop validation and troubleshooting, and other project support tasks. A significant part of the role includes IT Asset Management, which involves performing IT asset inventory and disposal at client offices and data centers, coordinating projects with clients, vendors, and other resources, creating IT asset management reports, and updating asset management systems like ServiceNow and DCTrack.

Requirements

1–3+ years of experience as a Field Technician or in a technical support role
Proficient with mobile devices, service software, and basic computer applications
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to travel locally/regionally and work flexible hours as needed
Installation, maintenance, and repair of field equipment
Accurate documentation of service activities and reports
Comfortable working in varied environments (outdoors, customer sites, confined spaces)
Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and reach for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities
