About The Position

Ford Office Technologies is growing, and we are seeking a dependable and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team and support our client in Robinson Twp, PA. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves setup, configuration, operations, and maintenance of server hardware/OS and backup hardware/software. The technician will also install EDR and Remote Management tools, maintain timely and complete documentation of all daily and project work, and possess knowledge of relevant technologies and maintain selected technical certifications. Responsibilities include remote and on-site troubleshooting and support of UPS, Server hardware and software, monitoring alerts for alarms via documented procedure and escalating to senior team members as needed, receiving, processing, and inventorying client equipment, and setting up and configuring new computer equipment per client specifications, while prioritizing and resolving issues that arise. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability.
  • Strong customer service, communication and writing skills
  • Strong experience with Windows 10 Desktop Support.
  • Bachelor or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant experience.
  • Proven software and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Print-Audit and papercut knowledge or willing to learn.
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • At least one year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server Systems Administration to include Active Directory Users and Computers, SMB Network Share Permissions, and Print Server Management.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work and set goals with little supervision.

Responsibilities
