Help us transform our workforce into the future today. Zions Bancorporation is seeking an IT Field Service Technician in Midvale, Utah. This tech will oversee the complete hardware lifecycle from receiving large-scale imaging to deployment, transfer, and disposal while aiming to minimize asset waste.

Requirements

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year experience with computers, networks, computer software and hardware or other directly related experience in a corporate setting.
  • Proficient knowledge of application software, networks, PCs LANs, and terminals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make appropriate corrections and/or recommendations through excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written).
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work with customers on a daily basis.
  • Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline.
  • Requires a valid drivers license and good driving record.
  • Candidates must show proof of a valid and acceptable driving record.
  • This position requires heavy lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • A+ is preferred.
  • Some overtime may be necessary on an “as needed” basis.
  • This position may require travel throughout Utah.
  • Travel will be necessary to service our remote branches in and outside of Salt Lake City (company vehicle provided).

Responsibilities

  • Receive, image, and configuration of all new hardware
  • Utilize image lab, capable of imaging up to 50 machines at once
  • Manage hardware transfers and disposals
  • Improve hardware delivery times and increase onboarding experience
  • Reduce/remove waste of underutilized and depreciated
  • Manage fixed asset transfers and disposals
  • Make recommendations on areas for improvement
  • Assists with internal resources to provide great administrative support
  • Contribute to team efforts in a corporative and supportive manner
