About The Position

We are seeking passionate and skilled technical professionals to directly support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on this critical mission: The Missile Defense Space Enterprise Architecture (MDSEA). This team is on the front lines, shaping the systems that protect us from advanced threats. Your work will directly influence the entire lifecycle of our nation's most advanced space-based sensing capabilities, from the initial design to becoming fully operational. We are looking for multiple skill sets in any of the following technical areas: System Engineering: Experience with systems architecture, integration, DevOps, or requirements analysis. Operating Systems: Deep knowledge of Linux environments, Red Hat (RHEL), Bash/Shell Scripting, System Administration, and Automation. Data & Analytics: Hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar observability and SIEM platforms. Model Based System Engineering (MBSE): Proficiency with industry-standard MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody) and requirements management platforms (e.g., DOORS Next Gen). A deep understanding of MBSE frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to apply them to complex aerospace or defense systems. Virtualization & Cloud: Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware (VCF) and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker. Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with core cloud concepts or certifications, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Infrastructure: Experience working in a physical data center environment.
