About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an IT Engineer to serve as Engineering Application Captain on the (Proprietary Common Application Suite) PCAS team. This position has been identified as a virtual (i.e. fully remote) opportunity and will not require relocation.

Requirements

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Minimum years of experience in information technology: 1+ for level 2, 3+ for level 3.
Experience with Teamcenter product data management system.
Experience gathering customer requirements for projects.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Capture Customer Engagement and Requirements.
Develop requirements from Change Requests.
Ensure functionality meets customer requirements.
Software Block-point Release Coordination.
Conduct Kickoff Meeting, Requirements and Architecture Meeting (RAM), and Pre-Lab Meetings.
Coordinate with Functional and IT Application Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Maintain Application Information Database.
Coordinate application testing and validation.
Perform Functional Coordination of proprietary requirements to standard solutions.
Provide administration for the PCAS Lab Teamcenter installations.
