You in This Role You are resourceful, calm under pressure, and love solving problems. You’re the person people trust when something breaks, because you can fix it, explain it, and make it better than it was before. You enjoy being hands-on with laptops, networks, and equipment, but you also think strategically about systems, security, and long-term solutions. You understand when to recommend new tools, when to consolidate systems, and how to help a company grow in a secure, scalable direction. You’re patient with non-technical users, enjoy creating workable solutions with imperfect information, and you’re comfortable building IT infrastructure from the ground up. Must have the ability to hold government clearance. A Day in the Life Every day will look different, but you’ll spend your time: Setting up laptops, configuring accounts, and supporting new hires Troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues across five Orlando-area facilities Evaluating our use of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to determine the right long-term system Making recommendations on collaboration tools, communication platforms, and workflow systems Handling Wi-Fi, routers, printers, scanners, shared devices, and manufacturing equipment connectivity Responding to phishing concerns and helping strengthen cybersecurity awareness Supporting our NetSuite implementation by ensuring system compatibility and user access Maintaining old systems while preparing the company for a unified future Establishing basic IT processes, documentation, device tracking, and support standards Your day will range from helping someone reset a credential to planning a company-wide system migration.
