About The Position

DK CTL Aerospace Opco LLC is a certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations. We are located conveniently in northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky). We are seeking an IT Director that will be responsible for the overall strategy, leadership, security, and day-to-day operations of the company’s information technology environment. This position ensures that IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, and business systems effectively support the company’s manufacturing and business operations. The IT Director will be a hands-on leader who works closely with executive leadership, operations, engineering, finance, HR, and other departments to identify technology needs, improve business processes, protect company information, and ensure reliable and secure IT services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive IT experience, including experience leading IT operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, systems administration, and data protection.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Natural Born US Citizen or Green Card Holder (ITAR Requirement)
  • Must speak and read English.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience with manufacturing systems and technology.
  • Demonstrated experience managing IT projects, vendors, budgets, and technology implementations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical problem solving.
  • Motivated to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, roadmap, and annual technology priorities in alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, including reliability of servers, networks, PLEX ERP/MRP, computers, telecommunications, cloud applications, user access, and IT policies.
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including access controls, endpoint protection, backups, security awareness, vulnerability management, incident response and disaster recovery/business continuity plans.
  • Oversee help desk and technical support activities, ensuring timely resolution of employee technology issues.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage outside IT vendors, consultants, software providers, and service agreements.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, software, hardware, and vendor services, and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity, data protection, contractual, and industry requirements.
