PassTime, a leader in asset tracking and technology solutions with over 30 years in business and experiencing significant business growth, is looking for a talented Desktop-Microsoft Office 365 Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, administering, and supporting the PassTime Desktop and O365 infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of these skills further demonstrated with examples of past work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent related IT Infrastructure experience
  • Demonstrated 6+ years of progressive experience as a desktop and Microsoft Office 365 administrator
  • A fundamental knowledge and ability to understand technology, information systems, data, and business processes
  • Knowledge of, and ability to work in an Agile/Kanban project management environment
  • Strong quantitative ability and aptitude for quantitative learning
  • Strong analytical and business writing skills
  • Excellent at troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Ability to present findings and technical proposals to internal and external customers
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work after normal business hours and on weekends as needed
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Advanced experience with the administration and support of: Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops and tablets to include provisioning using Microsoft Intune MDM
  • Support of company provided mobile devices to include company provided cell phones
  • Installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance of endpoint hardware and software
  • Installing and troubleshooting hardware/peripherals (e.g., printers, headsets, monitors, webcams, etc.)
  • Maintaining computerized inventory of all desktop related computer equipment
  • Microsoft Office 365 suite of products to include Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
  • Hybrid Active Directory environment (both on-prem and cloud-based Entra [Azure] AD) to include DNS/DHCP/WSUS
  • Experience with, and/or general knowledge of, the administration and support of: Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 Operating Systems
  • Desktop based VPN software
  • Desktop based Antivirus software
  • Dell (or similar) Server Hardware
  • Ubiquiti UniFi Wireless Access Points
  • Cisco Networking hardware/software to include cabling patch panels
  • Synology SANs

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing best practices for IT desktop and Microsoft Office 365 development, design, implementation, administration, and support
  • Working and interacting with internal and external IT Infrastructure support teams in both remote work and close-knit office working conditions
  • Effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Delivering desktop and Microsoft O365 related updates, changes and modifications independently using functional/technical specifications and the PassTime IT Change Management process
  • Employing strong knowledge of desktop and Microsoft Office 365 management, administration, and support
  • Identifying, collecting, processing, and organizing substantial amounts of information and data, which may be limited or incomplete
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Prioritizing work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Day to day endpoint management and user troubleshooting of IT-related desktop and O365 software and hardware issues
