About The Position
The IT Data Analyst supports an ERP transformation consolidating 29 ERP platforms into a common SAP S/4HANA Private solution. The role focuses on validating the accurate transfer of Request to Pay (RTP) data during ERP deployments and improving how deployment data is analyzed, interpreted, and reported. The analyst works with the ERP transformation data team, business leads, users, and other stakeholders to confirm data requirements and validation criteria, investigate data quality issues, and communicate findings. The position combines hands-on data collection, profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and analysis with the creation of dashboards, visualizations, exception reports, and validation tools. It also uses AI-enabled approaches where appropriate to accelerate issue identification and pattern detection. The role contributes to deployment readiness, reduced implementation risk, stronger data quality, and reliable RTP process outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Science, or Business.
- 5 years of experience in data validation, data analysis, ERP data support, or transformation-related roles.
- Strong ability to analyze complex data and identify inconsistencies, anomalies, gaps, and quality issues.
- Experience supporting ERP deployments, data migration, or system implementation activities.
- Understanding of RTP processes and related business data.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, validation tools, or analytical methods to improve data review and decision-making.
- Experience with data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and trend analysis.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms.
- Experience supporting RTP data validation, migration, or deployment readiness activities.
- Familiarity with enterprise data quality, statistical analysis, reconciliation, or validation methods.
- Experience using AI, automation, or advanced analytics to improve data analysis processes, including Databricks.
- Experience working in cross-functional global transformation programs.
Responsibilities
- Validate accurate transfer of RTP data during ERP deployment activities.
- Partner with the ERP transformation data team, business leads, and users to confirm data requirements, validation criteria, priorities, and status updates.
- Collect data from primary and secondary sources and maintain relevant databases, files, and data systems.
- Develop and implement data collection processes, validation methods, and strategies to improve data quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Filter, cleanse, and review data using reports, reconciliations, and performance indicators.
- Profile data to identify, investigate, and understand anomalies, gaps, inconsistencies, and transfer risks.
- Mine and analyze large data sets to support deployment and business decision-making.
- Use statistical and analytical tools to interpret data sets and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop dashboards, graphs, visualizations, exception reporting, and reconciliation tools.
- Apply AI-enabled approaches, where appropriate, to support issue identification, pattern detection, and insight generation.
- Translate validation and analytical findings into clear updates, recommendations, and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Identify trends, risks, and business improvement opportunities and make recommendations.
- Contribute to stronger data quality, lower deployment risk, and reliable RTP process outcomes across the ERP transformation.
