Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Understanding of basic security principles and practices.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, and SIEM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Able to work full-time 40 hours per week during the summer (May-August), flexible schedule, and hourly pay.
Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring network security and analyze security incidents.
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Help maintain and improve the security posture of existing systems.
- Support the creation and updating of security documentation and policies.
- Conduct research on emerging security technologies and trends.
- Engage in cybersecurity awareness training initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
