About The Position

Position Purpose: The IT Customer Service Technician will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hardware and software for the Bank including patch management, help desk support, and equipment installations. Demonstrates Civista Bank’s mission to improve the financial lives of our employees and shareholders to make a difference in the communities that we serve.

Requirements

  • One to five years of computer operations and networking experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
  • Understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Experience with mobile device operating systems including Apple IOS and Android.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with conflicting priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in Management Information Systems or Information Technology a plus.
  • Certificate in A+ preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond timely and professionally to help desk work requests submitted via phone or 1Source system.
  • Daily installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Bank hardware and software.
  • Provide IT support to all lines of business to meet service level expectations.
  • Ongoing support for major bank initiatives, meeting or exceeding deadline expectations.
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual support to all physical Bank office locations. Plan and schedule localized IT support according to established department field visit expectations.
  • All other duties as assigned and any activities that support the key accountabilities.
