About The Position

As an IT Service Technician for Prime Controls, you will support the day-to-day business functions of Prime Controls’ employees as it pertains to using hardware, software, and systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft productivity suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous IT help desk experience and/or extensive customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares laptops and cell phones to be issued to Prime Controls’ employees according to Prime IT standards and processes.
  • Responds to, triages, and/or resolves requests and incidents within our IT ticketing system.
  • Provides training and orientation services to new and existing employees on Prime IT resources including hardware and applications.
  • Maintains an orderly work area and assists in maintaining organized common/storage areas.
  • Receives and processes incoming shipments addressed to IT.
  • Provides outstanding customer service to colleagues to help maximize productivity.
  • Arrives at work on time with a high level of personal hygiene dressed in business-casual attire.
  • Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to provide IT request monitoring and response during limited hours outside of the regular business schedule.
  • Limited travel (less than 10%) to provide direct support to branch offices and job sites.
