IT Core Systems Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for our core banking platforms, helping to manage upgrades, troubleshooting complex issues, and serving as a key technical liaison between our departments and external vendors. Requirements
- Minimum of six months in IT systems support or a related field.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Proven experience with IT systems, including networks, PCs, and data communications
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- IT systems training preferred.
- Post-secondary degree or professional certification is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Help lead the execution of production schedules, system maintenance, and critical business tasks with a deep understanding of our core technology and protocols.
- Help coordinate and execute core system upgrades, rate changes, and long-term technical planning to ensure 100% data integrity and system reliability.
- Provide expert-level support to staff and members, resolving high-tier technical issues and translating complex problems into clear solutions.
- Proactively monitor vendor service status and lead communication efforts during interruptions to minimize impact on credit union operations.
- Take the lead in auditing and updating team workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and security.
- Partner closely with the broader IT department, particularly the IT Support team, to ensure seamless cross-functional technical service.
