About The Position

The IT Coordinator supports Comstock’s growing technology team by delivering responsive, high-quality technical support to internal team members. This role assists with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues; coordinating the setup and configuration of end-user equipment; and managing support tickets to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction. The IT Coordinator also helps administer business applications, supports technology-enabled processes, and serves as a liaison between end users and vendors as needed. This position is ideal for a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional looking to build a strong foundation in IT within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • BA in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field preferred
  • A+ or Microsoft Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT
  • Experience in the property management industry preferred
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network device installation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications and the ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Working knowledge of Yardi software preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows/Mac environments, installations, and configuration
  • iOS/Android support and configuration experience
  • MS Azure experience preferred
  • Crestron experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to Comstock’s team members
  • Able to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
  • Open, track, and close trouble tickets; ensure problem ownership and promote end-user satisfaction
  • Set up and configure end user systems including PC’s, phones, printers, monitors, etc.
  • Support and assist with online meetings/conference calls utilizing MS Teams, Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.
  • Administer online applications, such as Yardi, and act as the liaison between the end-user and the vendor
  • Support the business to optimize processes and systems
  • Assist the information technology and computer systems
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Assist with identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in time
  • Assist in documenting new and existing IT processes and procedures
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Preserve assets, information security, and control structures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
