IT Coordinator
About The Position
The IT Coordinator is an entry-level to early-career role within the Innovation Lab's ESO team. This position exists to address growing single-point-of-failure risk on the IT infrastructure side of our operations and to create bandwidth for our Director of Enterprise Systems & Operations to focus on broader leadership responsibilities. You will take ownership of foundational IT tasks like hardware, onboarding, help desk triage, and day-to-day operational support, while learning from an experienced IT leader and contributing to a team that is actively expanding. For the right candidate, this is a genuine long-term growth opportunity.
Requirements
- Entry-level to 3 years of experience in IT support, hardware management, or related technical area.
- Comfort with physical hardware: setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining computers and peripherals.
- Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, low-ego attitude - this team runs on trust and clear communication.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time.
Nice To Haves
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification is a plus but not required with demonstrated technical aptitude.
- Current UTA students or recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- End-User & Workplace Technology Set up and configure hardware for new hires, including laptops, peripherals, and workstations.
- Support hot desk and conference room technology configurations at TrueAero office locations.
- Assist with hardware procurement, inventory tracking, and asset lifecycle documentation.
- Provide first-line IT help desk support: triage tickets, resolve common issues, and escalate appropriately.
- Infrastructure Support Assist with hardware maintenance, replacements, and responsible disposal/recycling.
- Support server and network hardware tasks in coordination with the Director of ESO.
- Participate in basic cybersecurity practices: MFA enforcement, phishing awareness, and access controls.
- Documentation & Process Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure records are accurate and current.
- Document IT procedures, known issue resolutions, and onboarding setup guides.
- Contribute to the Innovation Lab's internal knowledge base to reduce tribal knowledge risk.
