About The Position

The IT Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of technology services across APS and its Operating Companies. This on‑site position, based in Brentwood, TN, is responsible for coordinating IT vendor and contract management, supporting financial and budget planning activities, and overseeing procurement and asset lifecycle processes. The IT Coordinator also partners closely with internal teams and external service providers to maintain office technology infrastructure, support facility‑related IT needs, and ensure timely resolution of equipment issues. While primarily focused on operational coordination and administrative oversight, this role will also provide occasional end‑user support to maintain a reliable and efficient technology environment. The position may require limited domestic travel (less than 10%) to support operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in IT or equivalent combination of education, certification (A+, Net+, Sec+, Microsoft)
  • 4 years minimum of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

  • Vendor and Contract Management: Oversee IT vendor relationships, manage contracts, negotiate pricing, and ensure service-level agreements are met
  • IT Portfolio and Project Oversight: Support IT project management, track deliverables, and assist in managing the IT portfolio for alignment with business goals.
  • Budget and Financial Planning: Assist in budgeting, cash-flow planning, and processing invoices related to IT operations and procurement.
  • Procurement and Equipment Management: Serve as a buyer for computer hardware, software, and new IT systems; manage inventory and ensure timely ordering
  • Facilities and Infrastructure Coordination: Handle office space planning, workstation setups, and coordinate with facility management for IT-related infrastructure needs.
  • IT Support Coordination: Partner with MSP to ensure office equipment (computers, printers, phones) is maintained, repaired, and operational
  • Occasional End User Support as necessary
