About The Position

An IT Coordinator must be knowledgeable in software, hardware, and networking. They must be critical thinkers and problem-solvers with great attention to detail. Since end user support and teamwork are important aspects of the role, excellent communication and people skills are required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and exercise good judgment, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal day-to-day supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional computer software skills, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and working familiarity with Salesforce or similar
  • Familiarity with Cloud and MDM solutions
  • Ability to travel to appointments, meetings, conferences, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in the daily operational activities that impact important components/processes of the IT work function
  • Acts as a liaison between Housing Works, Xerox/BCMone (the outsourced IT companies) and other vendors regarding technology and infrastructure with weekly/monthly meetings.
  • Assist and support team members in completing IT projects including but not limited to: Coordinating and scheduling execution of projects Reviewing, assessing, and evaluating the execution of projects regularly Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues arising in projects
  • Responsible for maintaining IT compliance and conducting audits.
  • Responsible for the support of our cell phone management, Office Phones, Desktops, general IT equipment and inventory systems.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance and audits, which include e-waste inventory, secure print for the agency.
  • Supports and maintain server rooms and needs at all sites.
  • Responsible for technical documentation, assessing, resolving and/or escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Providing technical support or training for systems and networks
