About The Position

Continental Global Business Services in Manila, established in June 2012 as Veyance Technologies Inc. and acquired by Continental AG in January 2015, operates as a full-fledged subsidiary of the ContiTech Division. It offers comprehensive end-to-end services, including customer service, order management, purchasing, invoice processing, credit and collection, full finance activities, data management, and HR services (payroll, employee benefits, talent acquisition), all supported by an IT group and a Robotic Process Automation Competence Center. ContiTech, a Group Sector of Continental, is a global leader in technical elastomer products and plastics technology, developing functional parts, components, and systems for various industries such as machine and plant engineering, mining, and automotive. The Manila location is currently seeking an IT Consultant SAP CO to join their team. This role encompasses project management, budget oversight, technical documentation, change management, application services, and knowledge management, focusing on IT realization and ensuring adherence to technical standards for scalability and maintenance.

Requirements

Academic Degree in Technology or Business Administration or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in comparable role
Experience in IT Solutions for Accounting & Controlling
Experience in SAP Accounting & Controlling and SAP Analytic Cloud
Business knowledge related to Accounting & Controlling
Basic Knowledge of all related SAP modules
Leading Self and Interacting with external resources working in the same functional area
Business fluent in English language skills (spoken and written)
Intercultural Sensitivity
Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 20%)

Responsibilities

Ensuring an efficient purchasing process if needed (e.g., in-time involvement of Purchasing, transparent communication)
Leading of projects according to Project Management principles (focus on IT realization: coordination of vendor / inhouse resources)
Collaboration with Business Process Consultant to final align and define technical CT Standards for new projects / enhancements
Ensure that technical CT Standards are as close as possible to standard for better scalability and maintenance
Successful and in-time implementation of enhancements / projects (new functionalities, applications etc.)
Creation and follow up on project eCRs if needed (after IT Portfolio Board approval)
Ensure purchasing process during the project (e.g., CEOS shopping card creation, payment)
Create and communicate updates of project Budget (Forecast process)
Ensure reliability of project Budget / Forecast (requested budget should be consumed or adjusted in-time)
Ensure availability and quality of technical documentation (with vendor same as for internal development)
Ensure up to date information in LeanIX
Define technical concept for changes
Realization and hyper-care for changes
Ensure service continuity and system operations in the region
Follow structured problem solving processes and lessons learned on technical interruptions
Ensure utilization of lessons learned (cross teams and Competence Center)
Ensure continuous learning and sharing of state-of-the-art & standard utilization (e.g., visiting relevant IT fairs)
