About The Position

The State of Ohio is seeking an IT Consultant 1 to provide technical advisory and consulting services across enterprise systems. This role focuses on identity management, cloud security, collaboration platforms, and CRM systems, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable IT operations aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) – 3+ years
• Experience with SharePoint – 2+ years
• Experience with Okta (SSO, MFA) – 2+ years
• Experience with Salesforce – 2+ years
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 – 2+ years
• Strong understanding of Identity and access management
• Strong understanding of Cloud security and user account management
• Strong understanding of Enterprise collaboration platforms
• Experience in IT consulting or enterprise IT environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor to guide adoption and usage of enterprise IT systems
• Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and recommend solutions
• Provide expertise in Salesforce implementation and best practices (Agile/SAFe)
• Analyze and improve IT systems to ensure efficiency and alignment with business goals
• Evaluate technology trends and recommend system enhancements
• Advise on risks, costs, and benefits of IT solutions
• Support IT security and compliance audits
• Collaborate with project management teams to develop technical solutions
• Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and operational requirements
