IT/Comms/SCIF Infrastructure Specialist
About The Position
SAIC is seeking an experienced IT/Communications/SCIF Infrastructure Specialist to support facility infrastructure, focusing on SCIF accreditation, secure communications integration, and IT infrastructure for AI production environments. This role involves coordinating across SCIF accreditation, system ATO, and reciprocity agreements for cross-domain connectivity. Responsibilities include supporting SCIF design, construction oversight, and ICD-705 accreditation processes, coordinating secure communications path development including IPA connectivity and cross-domain solutions, and supporting network connectivity task order execution. The specialist will also support IT infrastructure architecture for GPU clusters and high-performance computing, assist with security controls implementation and assessment for a dual accreditation approach (SCIF accreditation, IT infrastructure ATO), and support facility power, cooling, and physical infrastructure planning for AI workloads at identified data centers. Additionally, the role involves developing the Body of Evidence (BOE) for ATO packages, coordinating testing requirements, supporting reciprocity planning across Designated Accrediting Officials (DAOs) to ensure connectivity and delivery schedules, coordinating with organizational resources on infrastructure integration, and supporting network architecture and data transport planning across IC agencies, while tracking facility and communications milestones against an aggressive delivery schedule.
Requirements
- Active TS SCI w/Polygraph
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
- 5+ years in SCIF/secure facility and IT infrastructure programs, with accreditation experience
- Experience with SCIF accreditation processes (ICD 705, ICD 704)
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503
- Experience with ATO package development and BOE preparation
- Experience with secure communications architectures and cross-domain solutions
- Experience with Multi-DAO reciprocity and boundary agreements
- Experience with data center infrastructure (power, cooling, physical security)
- Experience with network architecture and high-speed data transport
- Experience with IT infrastructure for high-performance computing environments
- Experience with facility construction and systems integration
- Experience with Crypto implementation and network security
Responsibilities
