About The Position

The co-op student will be working on job assignments related to their computer science or engineering education. These increasingly challenging assignments will provide an effective learning assignment for the student.

Requirements

• Knowledge of computer hardware
• Basic knowledge of computer networking
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, VB 6.0, C#, or VB.Net is a plus
• Good writing skills and interpersonal skills
• US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
• Student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations.
• Accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility throughout his/her co-op experience.
• Identify and fix computer and network problems.
• Attend and participate in daily departmental meeting.
• Take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
• Participate in project teams for some assigned projects.
• Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new product development, product line extensions, and product enhancements.
• Work on computers, printers, and the network; troubleshooting hardware issues and configuring computers.
• Work on troubleshooting Windows 10 and Office; also printer repair and troubleshooting

Benefits

• $25.00 per hour/40 hours a week
