We are seeking an experienced IT Cloud Transition Specialist to help modernize and strengthen our technology infrastructure across multiple senior living communities. Reporting directly to the Director of IT, this individual contributor role will lead and support the transition from traditional on-premises infrastructure to secure, cloud-based environments while helping maintain the critical systems that keep our communities connected and running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a service-minded approach, and the ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with cloud migration exposure
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Teams administration
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, and hybrid identity environments
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms in healthcare or senior living environments preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and professionally
  • A positive, self-motivated individual who can work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support migrations from on-premises servers to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Assess current infrastructure and help develop cloud migration roadmaps aligned with operational goals
  • Configure and manage cloud environments including virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity services
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, uptime, security, and cost optimization
  • Support hybrid environments and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues across multiple communities
  • Administer and support Microsoft Teams, including channels, policies, integrations, and user support
  • Manage Microsoft 365 environments including licensing, provisioning, permissions, and group policies
  • Support integrations with SharePoint, OneDrive, and other collaboration tools
  • Provide guidance and support to associates and operational leaders on Microsoft 365 best practices
  • Help strengthen cybersecurity practices across the organization
  • Support security measures including MFA, SSO, conditional access, encryption, and identity management
  • Assist with vulnerability remediation, security audits, and incident response efforts
  • Help maintain HIPAA-compliant systems and data handling practices
  • Partner with leadership and vendors to support a secure, modern technology environment
  • Serve as a primary IT partner for critical operational systems including Yardi, WelcomeHome, Dayforce, and PointClickCare
  • Support integrations, uptime, connectivity, and user access across business-critical platforms
  • Coordinate with vendors on upgrades, troubleshooting, patches, and system enhancements
  • Support clinical, HR, finance, and operational teams by ensuring systems remain reliable and compliant
  • Assist with SSO configurations, API integrations, and cloud-hosted application support
