The American Red Cross (ARC) spends approximately $2 billion annually on goods and services, with about $1.2 billion of that being strategically sourced. Nearly $150 million of this strategically sourced spend is on IT goods and services. Supply Management at the Red Cross is undergoing a transformation to become a top-performing function. The Supply Management Team collaborates with the IT organization and IT executives to execute planned spend. To meet the evolving needs of its clients, the Red Cross requires IT-knowledgeable category managers to support the Director and Sr. Director of Strategic Procurement. This position is 100% virtual/work from home, can be worked from anywhere in the United States, but requires adherence to an East Coast schedule (8am – 5pm). Daily video appearances for meetings are expected, and a professional workspace must be maintained.
