About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to conduct story-driven and data-driven analysis of business challenges and design robust, automated solutions tailored to business requirements. This role directly serves IT leadership to drive operational excellence by performing deep-dive analysis, discovering hidden insights, defining and tracking critical KPIs, and proactively finding strategic opportunities for process improvement. This role involves gathering and translating business requirements into detailed technical solution designs, including concept, logical, and designs, while leveraging expertise in software development (Java, SQL, Python), database design, and software architecture (REST, event-driven, distributed systems). Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions, including project visibility dashboards, KPIs, and reporting metrics. Support and optimize SDLC processes, IT governance, and release/change management frameworks. Serve as a core administrator for collaboration platforms (Atlassian Jira, Confluence, JSM) and homegrown IT Tools, which serve as the underlying tools for our SDLC, including customization and project configuration, and assisting the strategic migration from Atlassian Data Center to Cloud. The position also partners with development teams to troubleshoot production issues, support system enhancements, and ensure ongoing stability of internal tools, leveraging expertise in software development (Java, SQL, Python) and software architecture (REST APIs, event-driven, distributed systems).

Requirements

• >1 to 6 Years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related major is required.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management); experience with Cloud migration preferred
• Strong SQL and PBI skillset in building PBI and ad-hoc reports
• Strong data sense and analytical mindset, with a self-motivated attitude to continuously improve IT service quality, efficiency, and SLA metrics.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
• Familiarity with software development (Java, SQL, Python) and architecture concepts (REST APIs, event-driven, distributed systems)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve productivity in project management and documentation.
• Able to effectively multi-task.
• Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
• Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
• Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
• Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct story-driven and data-driven analysis of business requirements.
• Utilize expertise in software development (Java, SQL, Python), database design, and software architecture (REST, event-driven, distributed systems), for middle-level domain requirements (may with some guidance).
• Engages with business and IT partners to clarify requirements and ensure alignment between solutions and business needs,
• Design, build, and maintain robust Power BI dashboards and ad-hoc reports to establish clear KPIs, metrics, and data visibility for IT operations.
• Administer and configure Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, JSM), including projects, workflows, fields, permissions, and spaces
• Support and participate in Atlassian Data Center to Cloud migration workstreams
• Develop and maintain software features and functional modules, ensuring alignment with technical designs and quality standards.
• Utilizing monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and debugging tools for effective production support.
