About The Position

The IT Business Solutions Lead will translate business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions across our enterprise landscape, with a deep focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Supply Chain Management) and adjacent SaaS platforms. This role will partner with business process owners across logistics and distribution operations to map current and future-state processes, define clear requirements, and shape solution designs that deliver measurable business value. Combining strong logistics and distribution business acumen with solution architecture, SaaS implementation experience, SDLC discipline, and operational technology experience, the IT Business Solutions Lead will be a trusted advisor who bridges business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Distribution, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in business analysis, solution architecture, ERP implementation, Cloud Optimization, with strong hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Supply Chain Management) expertise
  • Strong business and functional acumen across supply chain, logistics, and distribution, including business process modeling and value stream mapping
  • Digital Transformation professional experience, specifically around process automation, cloud integration, analytics, AI enablement and operational technology/Internet-of-Things (IoT)
  • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and solution architecture, including integrations and data models
  • Experience with SaaS implementations and application integration, including APIs, Logic Apps, OData, custom services, Power Platform, and integration patterns
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Azure DevOps practices, and CI/CD concepts, D365 security roles, access controls and release management, plus test case development and SIT/UAT coordination
  • Experience developing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability matrices (RTM).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business needs, evaluate trade-offs, and make value-based recommendations with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate the technical to the non-technical individual and engage executive audiences
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across business process owners, IT teams, and external vendors/integrators

Responsibilities

  • Act as a lead in business/technical analysis for U.S. and cross-regional stakeholders, translating business needs, operational pain points, and process gaps into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, solution blueprints, and ultimately sustainable technical solutions
  • Facilitate effective business relationship management, acquire solid understanding of current state opportunities, shape and implement strategic solutions to address business needs
  • Demonstrate a strong expertise in requirements traceability, business process modeling, solution architecture, testing strategies and best practices, data integrity and governance best practices, and business analysis methodologies
  • Apply strong logistics and distribution business acumen to ensure solutions reflect real-world operational needs across sales, warehouse, and supply chain functions
  • Leverage deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 expertise (Finance & Supply Chain Management) to evaluate options, configure capabilities, support the business with immediate and long-term needs, and shape fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and solution architecture, including integration flows, cloud optimization, data model efficiencies, and process automation
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and vendor partners to design secure, supportable solutions that follow user-centric design principles and enterprise standards
  • Assess trade-offs between configuration, extensions, customizations, and integrations, and make value-based recommendations
  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and integration of SaaS applications adjacent to the ERP, ensuring alignment with business processes, objectives, and data bricks Lakehouse strategy
  • Apply knowledge of APIs, custom services, integration concepts, and middleware to connect systems and enable seamless end-to-end processes
  • Coordinate with vendor and integrator partners on solution scope, configuration, and delivery quality
  • Operate within best practice SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies
  • Apply SDLC discipline across requirements, design, build, test, and deploy phases, with awareness of Azure DevOps and CI/CD concepts.
  • Develop test cases and coordinate system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet acceptance criteria
  • Support release planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization for enterprise systems
  • Document decisions, clarify ownership, and support user adoption to ensure solutions deliver intended business value
  • Communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into plain, business-friendly language
  • Build trusted relationships with business process owners, product owners, IT teams, and external vendors/integrators, promoting shared ownership of outcomes
  • Provide executive-ready summaries, options, and recommendations to support decision-making
  • Champion continuous improvement, quality practices, and governance across the solution lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary technology partner for U.S. business teams and warehouse operations, coordinating remote and on-site support with internal IT teams and managed services providers, specifically pertinent to D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management
  • Triage business technology issues across managed services providers and help drive to resolution
  • Partner with managed services providers and internal IT on coordinating associate onboarding related to technology needs
  • Maintain visibility and awareness across recurring support themes, service gaps, user adoption risks, software licensing needs, and communications with IT
